The second instance of gun violence recently was because a kid shot himself in the foot with a gun he was carrying. I obviously don’t love that he was carrying the gun (I live a few blocks from there), but I’m a lot less concerned by “bozo shoots self in foot by accident” than I am by most gun violence.

My kids attend the local schools nearby and I occasionally meet them at the CVS parking lot. I’ve never seen that guy act in any irate manner and I’ve been doing pick ups going on five years now. That’s not to say it doesn’t happen however.
