It’s a physical sunscreen so good for sensitive skin, and it doesn’t have the thick/pasty texture that’s typical in most physical sunscreens. I have pretty fair skin and the tint works for me. I’ve tried SO many tinted physical sunscreens and I keep going back to this one because it’s the best!

La Roche Posay makes a good one, too.

Is the LRP version pretty light? I’d like to give it a try, since I always worry they’re going to discontinue the Vichy one! Recently I’ve had a tough time finding it.

I wear this too. It's not as long lasting as I would like, but it's favorite option to date.

I don't wear foundation at all. I spent a considerable amount of money on my skin which is gorgeous now and I don't need foundation.

Good for you but OP was asking for specific recommendations. Read the room.

I use supergoop glowscreen or saie tinted moisturizer (both add some dewiness), and use setting spray after.

I might have posted about it already, but I have recently been using Make Up Forever Super Boost lately, it's lightweight, offers medium to light coverage, and I can't feel it when it's on. I wore it all day in the heat yesterday and it did not melt off!

+1. Unless you are performing on a highly lit stage, don’t wear it.
I am 54, and I don’t wear any base makeup or foundation. Skin needs to breathe in the heat.

I’m really surprised so many people are wearing some type of base. I gave it up years ago. I do moisturizer, under eye concealer, eyebrow mascara, and eye liner and sometimes a little lip stain if I want to look more polished.

I like Dr. Jart or Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. If I want more coverage then I will just layer with smashbox primer first and the finish with light setting powder.
