I am shocked that more people aren't suggesting Italian Store in Arlington. Hands down -best pizza you'll find outside NYC.

I actually find their pizza to be hit or miss and it seems to be worse when the place is crowded, which is often. Sometimes the pizza seems undercooked. But I agree, when it is good, it is very, very good!

I don't understand the appeal of this place. You have to go, pick it up, and then when you get home you have to pre-heat your oven and bake it. It seems like a total waste of time and energy. For me the whole benefit of take-out is not having to cook and clean up. So I was just wondering what I am missing, because the place seems busy. What is the "upside?"

Not the original Homemade Pizza poster, however what we like about it is that it comes right out of the oven with a very crisp crust. I prefer eating pizza where it is baked but from home never had much luck with a delivery/take-out pizza that retains its crisp crust or temperature. I don't think Homemade is a great pizza place but maybe one of the better pizzas we can have at home.

Mama Lucia's. I know of at least 2 in Montgomery Co. but there may be more in the area. I LOVE the pizza and the pasta. Excellent!
