Very family friendly. At both locations.

Mia's Pizza in Bethesda. Would second Comet Ping-Pong but my all-time favorite is *gasp* Pulcinella in McLean.

Also there's a ton of places in Alexandria (Del Ray and Old Town), I know you didn't ask but some others clicking on this post might be interested. Del Ray: Del Ray Pizza (new), Homemade Pizza, Firefly, Monroe's. Old Town: Pizza Paradisio (New), Red Rocks, and Faccia Luna.

Was at Fireworks in Courthouse on Saturday and the pizza was awesome. They also have a good bar scene, so it would be good for a girls' night.
My favorite pizza in Arlington is Pupatella on Wilson Blvd., but I wouldn't recommend it for a girls' night.

Rustico just opened in Arlington. I haven't checked out the new location yet, but I have heard good reviews!

Rustico in Alexandria is great , but the parking stinks! I didn't know they were opening another one.

Fireworks is right by my office, and I've been hearing really good things from co-workers.

I like Pietanza, which has a location in Arlington but the Falls Church location has easier parking.

I second Pizza Paradiso at Dupont or Georgetown. Also Red Rocks in Columbia Heights and Kavanaugh's (used to be Faccia Luna) in Glover Park. Kavanaugh's very kid friendly.

I don't understand the appeal of this place. You have to go, pick it up, and then when you get home you have to pre-heat your oven and bake it. It seems like a total waste of time and energy. For me the whole benefit of take-out is not having to cook and clean up. So I was just wondering what I am missing, because the place seems busy. What is the "upside?"
