2 Amys has been disappointing for the last couple of years. Their pizza, especially on weekends and when they are busy, is soupy and wet in the middle--a common complaint if you look up reviews. Their sides, however, remain good. Pete's now has two locations--one in Columbia Heights and one in Tenleytown/Friendship Heights. Good New Haven style pizza (burnt cornmeal on the bottom of the crust). Comet Ping Pong on Connecticut is fun, but I would stick to the plain cheese and pepperoni. The rest are hit-or-miss and expensive. Free ping pong tables in the back. |
| we like homemade pizza co. You bake it yourself. |
| I LOVE 2 Amy's. I think it's the best out there and it's a fun lively atmosphere. Pizzaria Paridoso is also awesome along with Sette. |
| I just went to Fireworks in Courthouse and the pizza was very good. Service was great, too, and so were the prices! |

Totally agree that 2 Amys has wet, soggy pizza on weekends. Been disappointed too many times recently to go back.
Love Comet, Italian Pizza Kitchen and Sorriso. |
| Is Pete's New Haven Pizza kid-friendly? Haven't peeked inside. |
