Which model and what do you like about it?

I can't imagine how expensive car insurance would be for a 17 year old driving a new Bronco wow.

OBX Sas Lux 4 door Hard top
Its a 2022 and purchased brand new … we did have to wait a bit for its delivery however our SA at Ford was amazing.
Ford tossed a ton of freebies and incentives at us during our wait as well.

We received emails and assembly line pics of “her” and of the Bronco loading up on the train in Michigan

Never in my entire life did I expect to adore a Ford .. But here I am

Its also super badass when all the doors and top are off.

Ive had zero issues w it.
Honestly its just been super fun and an instant convo starter. So ive met some cool people as a result.

Theres a whole Bronco panel you should join once you bring that rig home

Broncos are small. We aren't talking about a Suburban.

They’re wide.

No, they’re not. They just look wide.

A Hyundai Palisade, Toyota Highlander, Honda Odyssey and a Chevy Corvette are ALL wider than a Bronco.

Those are all examples of huge oversized vehicles. Why do you need an off road vehicle?

DP

I looked it up - A Bronco is 75.9 inches wide. A Tesla Model S is 86.2 inches wide. Nearly an entire foot wider than a Bronco.

Why do you need such a wide car?

You all are spamming misinformation. The little Bronco SPORT crossover is 75 inches wide. The full size Bronco this thread is about are 80 to 87 inches wide, depending on trim.

Exception is the Porsche 911 turbo and few turbo diesel motors. All others learning at consumers expense.

You better buy your car now and hold on to it forever. Every car seems to be getting a turbo.

There are nothing wrong with turbos. Vehicles have been using them for decades and big rigs drive across the US everyday with turbo engines.

We had one then, which my mom drove, and it was ridiculous. But, we lived in the mountains.

Without an off road vehicle, I would not be able to get to my beach house. Separately, you think a Corvette is oversized?

I have one too!

OBX
2 door (my kids are college age. Keeps them out of it!)
Soft top which I love and so easy to use

I love mine. I have had no issues. I went from an Explorer to the Bronco. I find it much smaller with a better turn radius and damn does it parallel park easily.

My coworker just traded in his soft-top Bronco. She said on road trips, it was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with the passenger.

You clearly know nothing about engines.

A turbo diesel is a very, very different engine than a turbocharged gasoline engine.

Diesel engines are massively overbuilt to deal with the insane pressures of compression ignition and forced induction. Gasoline engines are constructed to be just heavy enough not to grenade themselves under hard use. They literally weigh 1/3 of what a similarly sized diesel engine weighs.

There is a HUGE difference.

So even the absolute biggest Bronco model is only 1” wider than a Tesla sedan.

Ok.

Not exactly the point I think you were going for.

So an off-road vehicle with knobby tires is loud on the highway, huh? Wow, who’da thunk???

In other news - Audi A8 sedans are absolutely awful at driving over muddy rocks the size of basketballs. What a crappy car.

This dolt would also condemn you for owning a beach house, too.

And yeah, I’m sure she thinks anything larger than her Mini Cooper is too big.

I’m sorry you had to spring for the budget beach house without paved roads. How do you get things delivered, like appliances? Helicopter?
