Ford Bronco experiences?

Thinking of purchasing 2024 Bronco Heritage Edition. Has less than 10k miles with the 2.7 v6 ecoboost motor. I know there were reliability issues with earlier Bronco editions but hoping most if not all fixed for recent model editions. Any experiences with this vehicle?

I have no experience with them but I love them on the road

Some of the trims looks nice, the one with the retro white rims. It’s an enthusiastic car, questionable reliability, build, etc. tbh, I dislike any vehicle with a turbo engine. Exception is the Porsche 911 turbo and few turbo diesel motors. All others learning at consumers expense.

You better buy your car now and hold on to it forever. Every car seems to be getting a turbo.

There is so way they were crap back in the day I wouldn't expect less now.

Bad idea op. Terrible idea actually.

My 17 year old son has one. We’ve had it for two years without issues. I will say that I hate driving it because it feels too wide (for comparison my car is a g wagon and I don’t feel this way about that).

My 17 yo and husband don’t agree with me though.

Turbo engines are commonplace now because of new fuel economy regulations that took effect roughly in 2020 or 2021. Sigh.

There’s lots of annoyingly expensive things that can go wrong on a Bronco that have nothing to do with the POS EcoBoost engine.

My neighbor has one, and the electric fuel door cover thingy had to be replaced, that was $600. Why does Ford even put that on there when a $10 screw-on gas cap would suffice?

Also, she had to replace a taillight that got broken. That was $1,000.

If you’re looking for the “Jeep” experience, just get an actual Jeep. They’re wayyyyy cheaper to fix, and you can still get one without a turbo engine.

If there is no good reason for you get a car this big, please do not.

Big?

A Bronco isn’t big. It’s the same size as a Jeep.

Broncos are small. We aren't talking about a Suburban.

No, they’re not. They just look wide.

A Hyundai Palisade, Toyota Highlander, Honda Odyssey and a Chevy Corvette are ALL wider than a Bronco.

Those are all examples of huge oversized vehicles. Why do you need an off road vehicle?
