I live nearby this house, in a big older home that’s assessed for about 1.3. I can think of six lawyers who live on our block and two doctors.

And meant to add…everyone I know sends their kids to the public schools through 8th grade. Most continue to hs but I can think of four kids over the years who have gone k-8 in public then to private for high school. All dual working parents in good white collar jobs. This idea that smart successful people don’t live in silver spring is ludicrous.

People pay a premium to live in W school districts, so they feel the need to justify that choice. My three kids went to non-W public schools in MoCo, and all three got into top 10 colleges.
