Many doctors who work at Holy Cross live there. Super convenient when you’re on call. |
| It’s a beautiful home. I could make it amazing. |
Agree, and I live in a W school district and sent my kids to those schools. I love this house. |
I live nearby this house, in a big older home that’s assessed for about 1.3. I can think of six lawyers who live on our block and two doctors. |
| And meant to add…everyone I know sends their kids to the public schools through 8th grade. Most continue to hs but I can think of four kids over the years who have gone k-8 in public then to private for high school. All dual working parents in good white collar jobs. This idea that smart successful people don’t live in silver spring is ludicrous. |
Who says stuff like this? Seriously? -family member works in admissions (Dean) at an Ivy. Have many friends who are Deans/work in in admissions at top universities/colleges. |
Mentally ill people who are on DCUM all day. |
People pay a premium to live in W school districts, so they feel the need to justify that choice. My three kids went to non-W public schools in MoCo, and all three got into top 10 colleges. |

all that wood trim is to die for. just gorgeous!!
The neighborhood/location weeding out snobby, self-important pricks is just a bonus. |
LOL - what? |
