Pretty House in Silver Spring

That is the gayest shit I've ever read.

Almost 1.2M to go Blair? No thank you.

Finally, someone else in this thread with some sense.

I wouldn’t pay 1.2M for that kitchen.

Love the house, but for that price point, I need better schools.

It is nice because it is made some years ago and is not cookie cutter on the exterior. Very picture book and some nice spaces. But, this is not a move in ready home imho. I would do some upgrades.

It sounds like your kids are not very good students. The schools in Silver Spring will give you the same quality of education as the W schools; your kids just won't be surrounded by whiteness.

I love it. I wouldn’t touch a thing outside the basement

This is what people who can’t go to W schools say to make themselves feel better.

This is what people who send their kids to W schools say when their kids don't get into good colleges.

If you’re like a teacher, nurse or an accountant then Silver Spring may be okay for you (although most in those professions couldn’t afford this house).

If you’re a lawyer, doctor or executive, you want to live west of 270 (or Bethesda/Chevy Chase).

When it comes to W vs. non-W I think a good comparison is the star ranking system for anyone who follows high school basketball or football recruiting.

The W’s are full of 3-5 stars.
Non W’s are full of unranked-3 stars.

Can 2/3 stars shine and even become big time stars? Sure. But it’s much more rare than a 4/5 star going pro and having a great career.

Like I said, whatever you need to tell yourself.

Silver Springs nicer neighborhoods like the Woodside area and Sligo Park Hills are heavily populated by doctors and lawyers
