Best U11/2016g Team in DMV

All that matters is where they live. No one should be driving to BSC for more than 15-30 minutes at this AG, but I'm sure crazy parents will in the hope it leads to something awesome. Guess what, you'll just get replaced when someone better comes along and they will come along.

They won the Cannon Cup’s bottom bracket last year resoundingly but were playing other area clubs’ third teams.

So maybe it’s like being at a second team at VSA or Arlington or a bigger club?

It’s not one of the best clubs in the DMV if what you care about is playing at the highest level.

local parents drive for over 30 minutes, depending on practice location/time. Unless you mean "under perfect traffic conditions" it shouldn't take more than 30 mins, then I agree.

I would like to put my daughter on the best girl's academy/travel team for the next upcoming season. Can you please list the best girl's team for the U11 age group (including the coach's name and credentials)? This will help me decide on which tryouts to select.

Thanks!

If you are concerned about team performance, I think you should download the Rankings App for soccer.

You can find all the team rankings info to help your decision. The Coaching might change. Some Clubs rotate players up and down team levels and mix team levels at practices. (Arlington Does, while SYC Does Not for instance) Some Clubs keep a big roster (Arlington Does, while SYC is small).

Make sure to get your kid to some practices before tryout season.

For 2016 U10 Rankings:
-Arlington
-Alexandria
-SYC
-Loudon
-GFRS
-Valor
-McLean
-Vienna
-Virginia SA
-BRYC
-PWS Courage
-Gunston

For 2015 U11 Rankings:
-SYC
-McLean
-Arlington
-Loudon
-Virginia SA
-STJFC
-Revolution
-Valor
-VISTA Liberty
-PWS Courage
-Alexandria
-BRYC

That is an extreme caveat - rankings app is great when the teams are the same. It's useless when teams play with completely different players depending on the event.

The ranking app is useless U14G and u15B....

It also builds in huge hedges when it has significant data on a team. Yall rely way too much on it to confirm your priors.

You're too far in the other direction. It still gives a clean read out of recent scores and you can make your own opinion on that. Of course when teams change, it's useless, but for the same group it's very very accurate over the course of the season.
