| McLean or St. James are worth a look if you’re in Virginia |

Every club listed has pluses and minuses depending on what your priority and personality is. Coaches and teams even today are going to look different in 3 months with age change plus the usual coaching carousel after performance and parent agitating.
I wouldn’t commit to driving more than 15-20 min to practice before you even know what you’re getting into wrt to your kid, their interest and commitment level. Everyone will gladly take your money for some level of team if you volunteer it. For now, go slow. There will be plenty of shuffle again next year if you and kid feel like you want more and believe if she’s that good, clubs will let you know. See which tryouts other kids introduce themselves. See which parents chat with you. If the answer is none, run. |
quality has gone down from what it used to be. more results and business driven. |
| Seems like Villareal/Viva is heavily recruiting at this age - what's the deal with them? Never hear much about them so I'm guessing they aren't a top or popular club? |
| They’re a rec team at best. Total disaster. |
| BSC 2016 1st team is pretty decent |
They are very small. I think they practice in the annandale area. |
The best if you live in Arlington, cause she's 10. Otherwise best is only relative to your personal values. |
| Since your daughter is a 2016 and not a Q4 2015 the probability of making the top U11 team is low. Also at 9/10 your really going to drive all over just to say your on the top ulittle team? |

Agree that it's too early to care about anything other than good coaching, but plenty of 2016s will make top teams, just like plenty of May to September kids made top birthyear teams. |
| Is Gunston 2016g team any good? |
Also wondering, too, anything on the boys side for that age group? |
| St James is where its at! |
| Bethesda Soccer Club might be the best for your DD's age group |
