I think Lohan is higher IQ and most importantly, not mentally ill. She made poor choices as a young, rich person with messed up parents but there was nothing inherently stopping her from maturing and getting away and turning things around. I think there is a LOT more going on with Britney beyond the common thread of substance abuse.

Yes because she's clearly doing so much better out of the conservatorship and her picture perfect mental health is on display for all to see, demonstrating that she is a fully functional adult human who doesn't need any help due to severe mental health and likely substances abuse issues.

Not true whatsoever. One of my BFF has kids with his at school for years, he's definitely not a drug addict and reportedly a pretty good father. You can be a mega Britney superfan and hate KFed (for whatever parasocial reason you want) but you're just lying. Seriously.

There is no indication Federline is a known drug addict. He provided a stable home for their kids for many years when she could not.

It is known he smoked pot for years every day all day. Sorry, I call that a drug problem or a drug addiction. Good luck to you if your bar is lower.

The jury is way out if those kids had a stable upbringing. They are young and time will tell. as soon as the money dried up from Britney he tried to sell a salacious tell all about their mother, which in my book is not good parenting. (I say tried because he published the book, but it was an epic failure and hardly any copies were sold.)

There is no evidence that he stepped up as a parent other than doing the bare minimum of giving food and shelter to then - that is not stepping up - that is just literally keeping your kids from going to foster care. Like I said, we will see how those kids turn out in the next couple of years.
