Irony of course is that Minnesota, like most blue states, have among the lowest incidents of this kind of fraud. And florida, and particularly senator rick scott, has among the highest.

California and like-minded states need to find a run-around to having its citizens pay federal tax directly to government. Set up a system where the money is handled by the state in escrow. It can be done. In the end California won’t need to accept federal funds because it was never remitted to the feds. See how Alabama, Missouri, Indiana, Mississippi handle that loss federal funding courtesy of the California, Washington, Connecticut giver states.

This is such a lie. Minnesota state agencies were the first to report concerns with feeding our future.
I have a nephew with schizophrenia living in an apartment in MN with full time staff. His mental illness is severe even with medication (they do monthly injections to ensure compliance). I think his apt is regular Sectin 8 instead of a medicaid program, but if the staff goes it will be curtains for him. He needs constant supervision. Last time he had an overnight visit at his parents' he managed to drink a quart of rubbing alcohol, lose consciousness, develop compartment syndrome in the arm he was lying on, needing emergency surgery and ICU.

This sounds like a case for institutionalization.
