Parchment thinks they're close.

I forgot about U Miami and U Richmond in the T15, so its questionable whether Wake makes the list at all.

I have zero affiliation to Wake. It is in the same ballpark as Tulane and Richmond but definitely better, significantly better than Miami. All things being equal (money, etc.) I would not hesitate to choose Wake over any of them. There is definitely overlap in the applicant pools.

Duke is in a league of its own. Duke on the East Coast. Stanford on the West Coast. Now that both in ACC, Blue Devils vs the Cardinal has making of a great sports rivalry.

Davidson is more prestigious than Wake. Wake is a good place to go for kids who can’t get into a top 30 school. Comparable to BC, Tulane, Villanova, and Richmond. Expect SMU to be added to list now that the Mustangs are in the ACC. Smart move by SMU. Full pay family but hard to justify $95k for those schools with not much prestige.

I mean, it's a fabulous school. But if we are saying some schools are "better" than others, all the ones you listed are. That's just how the cookie crumbles.

100%
But Wake is more prestigious than Tulane or Richmond or SMU. By a MILE. At least at our private. Tulane is where you go when you have 0 options or need a full ride. Richmond is meh.
SMU is for cokeheads.

Wake is leaps and bounds above Vanderbilt, Emory, and UNC academically!

Much harder to get into, stats are much better. However, it's expensive.

Are we only discussing sports?

What programs are Wake even good at?

Wake is, not "are," good at lots of programs. You, however, are not good at English. Obviously you didn't get into any of the schools under discussion. Probably didn't even go to college.
