| Parents don't do this it's against the rules to rent a house and not be in attendance to circumvent the minimum 25 rule |
| Also, pack 10 kids in a 5,000 rental - that’s only $500 per kid. Little Timmy can get a part time job to pay for that. It will be OK mom. |
| DDs friends got arrested in OBX last year, so somewhere more lenient sounds good to me |
I have to wonder what kind of kid you have that this is even a concern of yours. |
+ a million |
This sounds very similar to my 2023 grad, but they had two dads and a coed group. |
+1 Preempted the whole thing by taking the kid on an epic international family trip. Made him an offer he couldn't refuse (and didn't want to). College is a whole other thing but at least not exclusively designed for drinking, sex, and other opportunities to get in trouble. Too many horror stories every year. Not my kid. |
Oh sweet summer child, your kids will have abundant opportunities to drink and have sex in college lol |
Interesting - did everyone going personally know the two dads that went? I (female) went to beach week about 20 years ago with no adults and I’m not sure I would have felt comfortable with two dads in the house - especially if I didn’t know them that well. |

I can’t believe how many trashy, careless parents there are in this area.
Oh wait, I can believe it. |
Well, there are no boundaries. Teens can do what they want and get everything they ask for. |
+1 I just have to shake my head at parents like this, who think that somehow their kid isn't going to do what 99.9999% of all college kids do once they get to college. |
Everyone loved the two dads who went. They were dads of two of the girls in the group and took turns making some fabulous meals for the kids. Other than that, they did their own thing (golf, etc.) and the kids went their separate ways. Everyone had a blast. |
Bless your heart(s). A week at the beach is hardly "no boundaries" or "getting everything they ask for."
