The last season when Benton and Carter have a quick reunion is good too.

Did you know the actor who played Dr. Romano was also a character on Fame (I Sing the Body Electric)?

Yes when I found that out (and saw him young and with crazy red hair on his head) I was shocked. He was always very talented as Romano.

I also felt like I got a lot of good lessons about being a working woman as I watched it in my 20s, particularly from watching Susan Lewis and Kerrie Weaver.

The Pitt. ( good in a different way )

This might hurt a bit (the book is great too)

Berlin ER

Grey's Anatomy (or as my husband calls it, Greys Lobotomy)

Nurse Jackie (this is pretty damn good)

Scrubs (obviously different and, they are rebooting it)

Hahahahahahaha I LOVED ER but my DH didn’t like it (too soapy/stressful) so when Grey’s started I purposefully avoided it because it seemed like more of the same. Little did I know it would still be on decades later, crazy. We both love Scrubs.
I’ve rewatched ER before - the morning reruns on TNT used to suck me in and make me late for work. It’s SUCH a great show and like Law & Order is fantastic for spotting people before they were famous. Abby and Luka were terrific the first go round but by the time they officially got together years later it seemed really tired and listless. Stark contrast to the perfect Carol/Doug finale.

Sherry Stringfield really KOd her career when she left mid-contract, that’s another working woman lesson.

They brought her back, because her character was popular. But then she left AGAIN.

They brought he back 5 or 6 seasons later and her character in the second round was not as good.

Sherry also left NYPD.
