How to stop feeling angry?

Try writing a thank you note to someone else or keeping a gratitude journal. It’s hard to hold onto anger when you are focused on the things in your life for which you’re thankful.

This is good advice. The cleaning gives the anger somewhere to go — it becomes a physical act, which gets it out of your body. The music lifts, and your personal world is improved when you’re done. It doesn’t fix the thing that made you angry, but there is great value in getting the anger out of your body when it rises.
