I have not actually heard a single "yay H" in real life. I'm not super invested, but from a governing standpoint, it will be very interesting if H is the recommendation, because you can't help but wonder why and how? Everyone affected by it (Wootton and Gaithersburg) seems opposed to it. I can't think of another local-level governmental action that has been taken in the face of such unified public opposition - but I'm hardly an expert. Would be curious if anyone has any examples of times a governing body has moved forward with a decision or policy that was basically universally panned. |
The Superintendent has proposed a CIP that is completely untenable from a fiscal perspective. Option H probably saves a lot of money. It might not be what people want but the alternative isn't feasible. |
