| Would hate for him to show up at my hotel room. 😬 |
Why does he need to keep track of you? You are presumably an adult who shows up on time for meetings. And why wouldn't a simple text be adequate if there's a change in plans? I would find this incredibly obtrusive. And very creepy if you are a woman. Does he ask the same of his male colleagues? |

We use FindMe on our iPhone for ourselves and our kids. So I am not against in general. But no way would I share with my boss.
The only thing that I might consider if I was a young, single female on a business trip and the guy was like a dad and he is worried that something might happen to you on "his" trip. Maybe I would share and then unshare afterwards. But even then, I would be pretty creeped out thinking my boss could see where I was. |
I think you mean intrusive, but yes, all of this. |
| Just say no. “Oh I don’t do Life 360” |
| Thank you. That doesn’t work for me. |
|
No absolutely no
Hiw is this a question? |
| This sounds like another weird troll post. |
| Is there a way you can accept/allow the invitation but do so under a different name? That way, he won't really be tracking "you." |
| I've had work trips places where kidnapping/hostage taking was a non negligible risk. For cases like that, maybe go for it. Otherwise, no. |
| Heck no. When many from our office attend out of state conferences we'll start a text group (anyone want to meet up for lunch, go to happy hour, attend this awesome session - I've got 3 seats saved, etc), not a share my location |
| No that is really weird. |
This is the only scenario where I think this would be acceptable. If your work trip is to the desert outside Juarez or something like that. |
| Life360? I had never heard of it before this thread, but after looking it up I’d say “no”. I don’t even see how this would be applicable in a work relationship. |
