That’s really strange. Why would he need to keep track of you?
I guess you can do it just for the work trip and immediately delete it, but it seems very intrusive. On one hand and on the other hand may be really convenient. |

Is this some really remote and complicated itinerary where you can't just text and meet up or where there might be some type of security concern so knowing each other's locations would be important?
If not, hell no. |
| Absolutely not under no circumstances. I’m an adult, I’ll be where I need to be when I’m supposed to be. |
| I wouldn't be comfortable with this. |
|
Hell, no.
Have him make a list of locations and times where you need to be present, and be sure to show up on time to those places. |
Same. Damn. |
Are you a senior level principal that tends to go on walkabout? I worked for one of these and Life 360 would have been helpful. Otherwise, no. |
| Absolutely not. What would have been his plan before Life360? No competent adults need to be "kept track of" by their boss. |

Is it a work phone? They could require tracking.
Is it someplace dangerous, where he might want to be able to notify authorities of your last location without a warrant? Young people all share Find My all the time — we are under constant video surveillance, we are tracked constantly by corporations, so why not let my friends see I made a target run. Its not a huge security concern; I mean most houses are empty during the day and you sleep in same place 90% of the time — if someone was planning something bad this is not the necessary tool you think it is. Creepy, but it can make for ease of finding each other in busy crowded places which I assume is the instinct. You can create shortcuts to turn it on and off during certain hours, maybe do that. |
| Agree. Ew, David. "I'm not comfortable with this." If he pushes, HR and/or not a place you want to work methinks. |
| I bet OP is a woman. Boss sounds like a creep. Absolutely do not share your location. I have never heard of this. |
| Ew no |
+1. We need more details. We are a Life360 family and DH travels for work all the time. He has never requested his team to do this. Seems really bizarre unless there are extenuating circumstances that we do not know about. |
| It's insane that he'd even ask. No. |
