Why the rush?

My very recent near deadbeat exh has my daughter staying over at his mistress house while I’m out of town for a few days, because he can’t stay away from the whore for more than a day.

That and he is too lazy to do childcare.

Kids need to learn that life doesn’t revolve them. My ex husbands girlfriend moved in with him 2 months after the divorce. It was a huge plus and she took care of our kids well when my ex husband was at work, or when I travelled for work/personal reasons, and needed time off. I met my husband a few weeks after our separation, and we dated for two years, but I didn’t introduce him to the kids until close to a year of dating. We’re now one big happy family.

Some of you people are such hypocrites. The same people who defend dads who are “entitled” to move away and do no parenting judge moms who want to move on and have a life.

No, I met this person 6 months after I asked for a divorce.

So, you weren't yet divorced. So you were committing adultery.

Move on when you are no longer married.

I mean I personally am off men maybe for forever, but I think you’re wrong. Divorce can take quite awhile and a lot of the time by the time the divorce happens both have been miserable for awhile.

Anyway, do dads also have to wait til the divorce is final?

You are still too concerned about him. Work on your co-dependency issue.
