DP. You had no problem supplying the missing words so no need to be such a jerk. |
It does need major work done, but it should be kept modest in terms of expansion. However I have an idea of moving the Robinson feeding part of Union Mill to Centreville with the rest of the school, move Willow Springs (sans its attendance island) to Centreville with the Fairfax feeding part of Powell into Centreville too. That is after 362 Bull Run ES students are projected to move to Westfield High School with 200 something Chantilly High School Students. |
It makes sense apart from the age-old question of who gets sent to Fairfax HS and whether Clifton would rather stay at Robinson. Maybe move all of Fairfax Villa back to Fairfax from Woodson. |
Fairfax Villa would move |
People who keep saying the "overall student population is shrinking" are deliberately ignoring the fact that the western and some northern parts of the county are growing rapidly. Adjustments still need to be made in those places. Under enrollment is a problem when schools lose too many as well. |
| Well it looks like FCPS may have the building permits to begin construction on the new 3000 student Centreville whenever they want. If they do a massive redesign to reduce the project scope, that probably means first approving a new plan and redesign by engineers and architects. |
Yes. While there is development associated with the Silver Line and the Technological Boom, birth rates are declining. But who knows, they might rise again. |
