What about Carl Racine?

Mayor Fast and Furious? Would he run on giving government guns to criminals?

He should but won’t

Eww

Holder allowed one of the leaders of CAIR to evade charges of supporting Hamas. CAIR has caused a tremendous amount of chaos over the years and has funded concerning candidates. Before I knew his ties I was a fan of Holder.

Oh no, not Hamas, the only political party allowed by Israel!

Holder has been uninvolved in DC. Just because he is a fundraising celebrity Democrat at this point does not mean he could run the city or even has any interest in doing so.

I want someone with audit training, like Kathy Patterson. Bowser's cronies need to be rooted out of every position and prosecuted if they did anything illegal. There needs to be no quarter for corruption in the District.

I feel like Fenty and maybe Tony Williams were a bit closer to this. Definitely Fenty. Gray and definitely Bowser were in it for the wrong reasons. Bowser in particular has such an ego, it's really disheartening. I'd take another Marion Barry over another Bowser, I think she's been such a disaster.

How do we find and recruit another Fenty?

You have it ALL wrong. Fenty and Bowser were there to make their friends rich. Vince Gray was not. Tony Williams was the best.

Holder is 74. I would rather reelect a 75-year-old Tony Williams.

Did you hear that from him or someone close to him? There have got to be former Obama people in DC who can encourage him to do it… he’d win in a landslide, so I think the job is basically his if he wants it.

He isn't running.

Okay I hear you saying this... but what's your source that he wouldn't consider? He wanted the job after being US Attorney for DC...

He was the Attorney General of the United States not US Attorney for DC. Duh.

What's wrong with Janeese Lewis George as mayor? It's a serious question. She needs to be asked hard question now and real issues need to be raised because she's the current frontrunner.

The problem is that she's not going to play ball with all the cronies that have benefited under Bowser. They're not happy!

Also the Republicans really don't like her.

Actually, I can't see a compelling reason for him to want that job, not the other way around.
