| On a weekday it’s fine |
Me!!! Sycamore trees pretty much lose leaves from August until December, it’s maddening! |
DP- I'm sure this was sarcasm because everyone is calling out OP on acting entitled and this is what an entitled person would do! But we don't know OP's situation. Could be a shift worker. |
|
After 7am for a weekday is absolutely fine, OP.
I don't remember the last time I slept past 7am. Your life sounds luxurious, OP. |
Omg 7 am? Until a month ago, my neighbor would use his lead-blower every.single.evening even in winter to chase 3 leaves around the neighborhood — he was in my driveway one time, so bizarre. Glad we have an HOA which says no noise before 8 am. I swear that man would have been leaf blowing before he left for work too! OP — I would have been like you! |

Our garbage collection truck comes twice a week at 6:30am. I’ve called the HOA and the company itself a couple different times to complain/request a different spot in the route and have been politely ignored. I looked it up and our country exempts garbage collection from the 7am end of quiet hour restriction. But lawn services and home construction are not exempt where I live.

| This is a one-time thing. All the leaves have fallen. Listen to the California Dreamin’ song and chill. |

How annoying!! 😲
I value my sleep & missing my zzzz’s can make me grouchy and throws my entire day off so I would kindly say something. Hopefully your neighbor will understand your pov. |
| Just show some grace. |
| You people are all super weird. Of course this is annoying. But yeah that feels tolerable (not great but tolerable) on a weekday. |
|
That's totally obnoxious. I think you should wait and see if it happens again, and if it does, politely ask if he can have the guy come later.
|
I'm genuinely wondering what kind of person is still asleep after 7am on a weekday. Do you work nights? Retired? |
Probably a Californian transplant. |
