Trump isn’t even third rate. He’s the mirror opposite of FDR, exactly the wrong person for the job at a critical moment in history. There isn’t a single redeeming quality about him. A half eaten tuna sandwich would do a better job as president. |
What do you have to say about the constitution expressly prohibiting him from serving any more terms? |
Neither of them have a speck of charisma. |
| MAGA, as an entity, ceases to exist when Trump exits. Factions will emerge. Though it seems like a long time, we only have three more years to go. In some sense, less given the Republicans will lose the House in 2026 with primary season not far behind. |
| It is painfully obvious that none of you ever speak to Republicans. It was supposed to be Charlie Kirk. |
I don’t think so. I speak to republicans all the time. Charlie Kirk was not well known with republicans over 35 before he died. |
I would actually think that Trump Sr should be more concerned about Vance poisoning because Vance isn’t going to win an election. |
+1 It dies with Donnie. Vance was too recently a never-trumper, and will likely return to that stance to survive. Trump jr can’t be taken seriously, and lacks a following. |
He is a political buffoon, but he somehow managed to change the voting data to give Trump a win in all seven swing states. I hope Nevada is enjoying their decision. |
Well, that is why pp said Erika Kirk. |
|
There is no heir. MAGA is defined solely by Trump. He wakes up each day, ejaculates some nonsense from his mouth, then the trolls, Fox hosts, and Heritage op-ed writers proclaim it to be coherent policy. When he reverses himself in the afternoon, they abandon all they believed five minutes prior and fawn over his wisdom and declare the reversal a demonstration of his great negotiating acumen or whatever.
Trump is like a black hole that’s annihilated everything around it. He’s crushed the Republican Party into the singular entity that is himself. But when a black hole finally evaporates, there is nothing of substance left. |
Trump and any Trump endorsed MAGA candidate will have no chance in 2028 due to Trump being the unpopular sitting POTUS. As long as the Dems don't nominate another weak Biden type candidate in 2028, the Dems should be able to retain The White House through 2036 while effectively flushing out the MAGA garbage from our system. |
No. Even if she was smart ( which I've seen no evidence of) rank-and-file Republicans don't like the idea of young women with babies in politics. Trump loves to hire them but we all know he's thinking with his **. Any woman who rises to a leadership position will be grandma age and not a "hot"grandma like Kristi Noem. Women hate that look, even Republican women. Charlie Kirk may have been an unknown to the Fox News senior citizen crowd but younger Republicans all loved him. I'd say more like under 45 or 50, not under 35 like PP said. |
He was propped up with tons of money. Not an organic figure/movement at all. 1 millions times more known and popular and respected after his death. I don't think he would have been it. Now Tucker Carlson maybe. But part of what makes trump beloved to the low voting base that is making such a difference in elections is that he is willing to just say anything. They have no stakes in politics or institutions and so enjoy that. I don't know anyone on the scene who is as "off" as trump that that they are willing to just say anything. But Trump is being pretty disastrous and if this keeps up in 3 years though voters who main goal is to see powerful people and institutions poked in the eye will have lost interest. |
Just as they lost interest with Trump in 2020 and Biden in 2024. |
