Parents and their minor kids walk out of lewd Sabrina Carpenter concert

Oh gross. Her music is awful, too.

The point is for these former Disney girls to be Trojan horses to mainline smut to minor girls. It’s demonic. Same for Taylor Swift going from innocent dorky girl next door to a Las Vegas prostitute who sings about riding a large penis.

…Sabrina carpenter is like 27 and hasn’t been on the Disney channel in years.

Maybe be more concerned about the adult Disney execs who raped and abused child stars like Amanda Bynes, honey. Maybe save your indignation for the victims of abuse and exploitation.

It's the same people behind both these things.

I rolled my eyes this hard when people were like "I'm not sure how I feel about Taylor Swift's new album's lyrics. My 7 year old daughter and her friends don't need to hear that." Like, hello, Taylor Swift is not a children's performer. And Sabrina Carpenter CERTAINLY isnt.

She literally grew up over like 20 years from a teenager singing about teenage things to an adult woman singing about adult things. She isn't stuck at age 15.

Here Short 'n Sweet album has a Parental Advisory label on it. It's obvious.

She’s literally a former Disney star.

Yeah, former Disney star should have been a huge blaring red flag warning that whatever they were producing was not fit for child consumption.

Former Disney star is warning enough.

…and? Kids grow up, sweetie. Disney doesn’t sign her checks anymore.

Ariana, Miley, Britney, Christina, Justin, all have sexual content: all former Disney child stars.

Former disney child star is synonymous with train wreck and exploitation

Not exactly role models for kids.

No.
One.
Said.
They.
Should.
Be.

I’m a parent who actively parents, so I don’t just let my kids watch and listen to whatever without my learning about it first. Which is why I’m not stupid enough to take them to such a concert.

Bet you handed your kids an iPhone at…what, age 11?

It's the same with Olivia Rodrigo. Yes she's young (but not a child), but she swears in her music a lot and sings about sex and mature subjects.

I feel like the Eras tour made people forget that most pop concerts are not appropriate for kids. Historically it's not. Like I wasn't going to Madonna concerts at age 8. People weren't taking little kids to Britney or Christina Aguilera either. Hannah Montana was kid-friendly; Miley has never been.

Even Taylor isn't kid-friendly all the time either -- her new albums is raunchy at points.

I went to an Olivia Rodrigo concert with my teen and no parents walked out with their kids. It was nothing like the video OP posted above. OR is very talented and expressive. She is more known for being angsty rather than oversexualized - teens relate to her expression of common teen experiences and feelings. She also acknowledged parents there with their kids in the concert.

Parents gotta parent. My parents knew what music I listened to and threw out my CDs if it wasn’t age inappropriate. I wasn’t allowed to go to concerts until age 16, and even then, they went with me to the first few. I remember asking to go to the Backstreet Boys concert in middle school and it was a hard no.

Irresponsible parenting to take kids to her concert.

No parents should have been surprised by the content of a Sabrina Carpenter concert. It’s their responsibility to know what they’re buying tickets to.

An eternal problem.
