This is totally perimenopause or menopausal.
What helps me? If I wake up and I don’t back fall asleep in 10 minutes, I read a book until I feel sleepy again. Usually about 30 minutes later. I do not look at screens though. No afternoon caffeine. I even find that iced tea at lunch or any kind of caffeine in the afternoon will mess me up. Try to take at least a 20 minute walk every day if I can. (especially on the days when I’m not really exercising; I go to a one hour exercise class three days a week) I am on an estrogen patch, and the prescribed progesterone with it really helps |
| I’m 49 and often wake up between 3-4. It’s so annoying. I usually go to the bathroom and check the thermostat because I’m so hot. It’s never raised. I often can fall back asleep after a while but wake up again by 5-5:40 for work. |
| Maybe trying to hoe at 3am would help? |
