It’s less than that for direct admit Smeal. Just Google it.

I'm seeing kids get into Smeal with 3.8, 3.9 unweighted and 4.6 weighted GPAs with 1300 SATs get in. So how is it more difficult than Wharton?

If you are parent age, the undergrad business major/Dyson School is newish. The web says 2010 for the named school creation date.

And the MBA is Johnson School.

Has anyone here had a DC get in this year?

Oh, I guess I answered my own question.

That's basically it. Low amount of work for a potentially high reward.

Yes. It's a good major for those who don't have passion for other fields but want to make a good living.

DS is a dual math/CS major and has a lot of friends who are business majors. He agrees a business major can be lucrative even if you don't go to a top b school. And this is coming from someone who will be interning at a quant firm in the summer.

Haters abound on PSU but the career opportunities and alumni network are unmatched so it’s a great place to get a business degree.

Top 15 PUBLIC business school. That means it’s barely top 25.

Where did he hear it was 10 percent admission? Holy crap.

Business is THE hot major. Plus, all the high achieving STEM kids that would have historically applied computer science are now applying for business because of AI. Everyone wants a direct admit program so they don’t have to risk not getting admitted to the major they want a year into college (UVA, I’m talking to you). All of these business programs are very hard admits.
