Tesla stock is full of red flags - overbought, and their sales have been tanking. It's all hype, smoke and mirrors. |
Tesla is a meme stock. People are getting rich because they believe the hype train. Its PE ratio is nuts, and profits are dropping as more competition and Musk manic episodes. Ultimately we will all lose, either because stock crashes or he has created a robot army he controls. |
| Look at the requirements for Musk to actually get the $1t. They are basically unattainable. If he somehow meets them, he's worht $1t. |
This is not talked much about. Stocks are FLAT since January except Mag 7. And they are buying from each other in circular financing. |
This. And the cars are crap. |
At Universities, faculty appoint committees to consider raises. Then they vote themselves large raises. This causes the cost of tuition to rise much faster than inflation. And people happily pay this, even though it is destroying our culture due to a combination of a tragedy of the commons thing and because they really know that if you go to college with the big boys, you have an unfair advantage that can lead to you earning $T salary that you certaintly don't deserve. So this is fair? Good? how we should order to society to preserve it and make it a decent place to live? Is this the kind of world you want to live in? Because humanity can chose what their culture is like. There is no "god given" ordering. And certainly if the strong can take what they can get, the weak can get together and take down the strong. And we don't have to accept the strong taking what they want. We can use our brains to rein in destructive behaviors when we see them. |
Luckily for us, his robots are garbage, just like the cars. There was some prestige to them I think, but he’s completely ruined that for the company. It’s a Walmart brand now. BYD and the Korean brands give you twice the car for the money and without the white trash aura of being seen in a Tesla. |
Who at the universities is getting these massive raises? I ask, because the tenure system is virtually gone, and often the highest paid employee is the football coach. Yes, tuitions have skyrocketed but where is the money actually going? |
