Tesla approves $1 Trillion pay package for Elon Musk

Anonymous
So while Americans are losing their SNAP benefits and seeing healthcare costs double, this happens:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2025/11/06/elon-musk-tesla-pay-package/

Yes, the package is contingent on Telsa's market cap by the 2030s, but this isn't reassuring, the implications are even worse. It's based on Musk's plan to develop autonomous robots, taking jobs and ultimately becoming his own private robot army. This is no joke.

And here they wonder how Mamdani won, and how Gen Z approves of socialism more than capitalism, and why people like Luigi Mangione are celebrated, and why teens are sharing guillotine memes.

Dumb. They will never get their moneys worth.

Apparently it would take 66 million years of minimum wage work to make a trillion dollars. Just something to think about

Revolting.

If you saved a million dollars a day, every day, since the birth of Christ, you still wouldn't hit a trillion dollars.

Completely revolting. And scary since he wants to create a robot army.

Wtf. He's driven Tesla into the ground.

Would it be okay if it were the head of a private equity firm or private corporation? Not defending the exorbitant amount but I don't see all this anger and handwringing about other such people who are bigger scumbags than Elon, and those people also fund or otherwise lend technical assistance to foreign armies that commit war crimes.

What a weird comment. Of course it wouldn’t be ok if some other company decided to pay their CEO a trillion dollars.

This is the clearest sign that our society is in crisis. No single mere mortal should have a trillion dollars. NONE. It's mortifying, tragic for the human race in general and scary AF. That not just anyone but esp. Elon could be rewarded with this amount is basically a sign of armaggedon!

Eventually he will end up in jail, and it will be glorious.

There are bigger scumbags than Elon that have that kind of influence?

Can you name one?

+100

Also there has been so much shareholder litigation around his compensation package so far they may as well burn their money.

How do you propose to put a man worth $1 Trillion in jail? What government, what army could challenge him? This is what these guys are aiming for—God-like power that can't be challenged. We have very little time to correct it while they are still at least pretending to be shackled by the rule of law.

Beyond comprehension. No one on this earth is worth this amount of money.
