How often do you change your kid's sheets?

Anonymous
Every 2 weeks.
My kid is 13 and showers at night.
She was a late bedwetter so in the younger years if there were accidents obviously it was more frequent.
I grew up in Europe without a dryer, everything had to dry on a line outside, even in winter. Somehow we all survived without any skin issues.

We are working with his pediatrician on it.

If it’s every night it close to it go bsck to
Pull-ups ups or overnight diapers. No judgement. My kid was a late bedwetter too. In the end it was just time.

If you wash your face and hands at night and wear pajamas whats the concern?

Our cleaners make the beds for us with fresh sheets every 2 weeks. I try to do it on the in between week, but I am not always that organized. So for the kids it’s usually every 2 weeks. DH and I it’s weekly.

Every four weeks. Judge all you want.

Keep in mind, OP, that threads like this are not representative of average people. This is people on clear schedules who care about this. For a lot of people it’s “I dunno every couple of weeks? Whenever I think about it?” And they’re letting it go a month or more when they’re busy.

1-2 weeks. DH is in charge of this since he does our laundry.

He makes our 10 year old take off the sheets and put on new sheets. Our DS also does his own load of laundry and folds his clothes once a week on the weekends.

Though to be fair, if it’s a really busy weekend and we are out doing stuff or activities most of the weekend, then DH might do DS laundry but it is nit frequent.

Every week, along with my own sheets. I change PJs every night just like a PP - recommended by my dermatologist for skin irritation issues (I’m also sweaty these days from perimenopause). I change my pillowcase once midweek, also recommended by my derm.

Every 2 weeks. The posters saying that’s gross are also the ones who have cleaners. Just saying.

No they aren’t they are the ones saying their cleaners do it every two weeks. I wash the kids sheets myself weekly, my husband is in charge of our room. My kids know how to strip their beds so they do that part. Moving laundry between machines is easy and the clean sheets go back on beds. One of my kids can do it himself and the others are learning. This isn’t an arduous task for us.

Wrong. I just have cleanliness standards.

It’s probably our lowest priority laundry item in the house so once a month is probably right. Kids bathe daily and have no skin issues. The amount of laundry some of you must do is insane. So much water and so many laundry chemicals.

Let's not pretend you're not doing laundry due to environmental reasons.

Every week.

Honestly every month. But we insist on showers before bed and the AC is always set on the lower side.
