How often do you change your kid's sheets?

Anonymous
Weekly but one of my kids still has accidents and so we end up washing their bedding sometimes almost nightly

We are working with his pediatrician on it.

Not everyone sweats. We wash every night and change pjs often. If they slept naked it would be different. When sick we change all the time.

Everyone still sheds skin cells. Sheets are changed weekly, pjs changed nightly.
Wow you only wear pjs once? That’s pretty extreme. It’s your own skin cells.

Extreme? Do you wear all your clothes multiple times? Wear the same shirt to work for days and days? Why not? It’s still clean.

I don’t think some of you understand what extreme means.

But my husband is insisting that we change his sheets every week, which I think is a lot. He's a little boy – he doesn't get sweaty at night, he's not a hairy or smelly teen yet. So now I'm wondering what everyone else does.

Is your husband changing and washing the sheets weekly or insisting that you do that? If the former, just let him continue. If the latter, tell him to do that if he thinks it's necessary.

If he showers in the morning, then he's running around all day getting sweaty, getting dirty and then getting into bed that way. Even if he showered at night once a week would be the MINIMUM!
