Replacing my Tesla 3

Anonymous
My Tesla was nothing but problems. The build quality was subpar with poor fit and finishes.

All better reliablity than Tesla. In three years you can have junk or still a car that is running well and without having to head to the shop constantly or failed Tesla software updates.

Well, We've had our Tesla Models 3 and Y for six years with absolutely no problems. Mechanics aren't actually working on Teslas because they have very few parts to work on! We've had to change the tires once and occasionally have to add windshield washer fluid, but that's it. That said, as we look for new cars, I would buy another Tesla if only the Board had fired Elon. But they didn't, so I won't buy another. I like the look of the Polestars but won't buy Chinese, so I put a $100 deposit on the Rivian R2 (I'm not schlepping kids around anymore so I want a smaller car). Let's see how that goes.

Polestar 3 is made in South Carolina. Polestar 2 was made in China but you can't get them in the US anymore because of that. I believe they are moving that production line to South Korea. Geely, a Chinese company, holds the majority stake, but it is still Swedish through and through.
