Mechanics aren't actually working on Teslas because they have very few parts to work on! We've had to change the tires once and occasionally have to add windshield washer fluid, but that's it. That said, as we look for new cars, I would buy another Tesla if only the Board had fired Elon. But they didn't, so I won't buy another. I like the look of the Polestars but won't buy Chinese, so I put a $100 deposit on the Rivian R2 (I'm not schlepping kids around anymore so I want a smaller car). Let's see how that goes. [/quote]
