| Now Trump wants to have a Republican convention. |
And how millions of people are losing health insurance and our public health officials are quitting in droves rather than implement dangerous health policies. |
How so? He seems to be one of the only things the Democrats have going for them. |
You think Bernie is what hurt the Democrat brand?? |
You can put your antisemitic comments, well you know where. And I am crystal clear this is not about Israel. |
Tell me you know nothing about mainstream Dems without telling me. Tell me you are chock-full of GOP talking points without telling me. If you were ever a Dem you completely missed everything whatsoever. |
Great, this gives me time to buy stock in companies that make bullhorns & tom-tom drums. |
NP and sorry, but I’m with pp. And we’re not alone. Democrats are losing because they’ve embraced unpopular, irrational, extreme positions. I voted Democrat since Dukakis and I’m done with the party. |
+1. If they had let Bernie win the ticket, he’d have been president. The country was ready for an outsider, but the powers that be thought it was Hilary’s turn and couldn’t let that happen. So we got Trump instead. |
Mamdani’s never done anything. He’s a theatre kid turned politician. He’s like the babysitter who lets you stay up all night and eat ice cream for dinner. Sounds good at the time but the reality of it sucks. He’ll be a disaster for NYC if he wins. |
Israel and our fanatical support for them is deeply unpopular. Will that be discussed or nah? |
And this is how we loose another election. By being mean to someone who we should be trying to win back. Can we do more than call people names? |
Infrastructure investment is popular but can we look at strutting it so we get a slice of the pie that the private sector will make off govt support? Ensuring healthcare coverage is population but people’s out of pocket costs and total healthcare spending have soared and our overall health is down since Obamacare. So how can the ACA be modified to fix these really real problems? Lowering tariffs is popular, but many companies are absorbing costs for now bc of cash cushions built up under Biden proving that, yeas, they were price gorging us during the final part of his term. What policies might Dem proposed to stop price gorging? Maybe we can propose taxing stock buybacks? I could go on. There are Dems have down some good things I don’t deny. BUT we have real problems in our country and having another election where we hid from these problems and just run against the other guy is not going to work IMO. And I definitely agree with the other poster who mentioned that Dems have to change their position of unwavering support of funding arms to Israel that are killing kids in the Middle East. That is a real issue drag for us and Dems need to weigh losing APAIC money from losing votes. |
I’m sorry but if the Democrats can’t have a “not actively supporting a genocide” purity test, than bye. |
Oh quit it with your “theater kid” ignorant crap. “Theater kids” whatever that means are bright and engaging and great people so for you to malign them is simply hate and ignorance. |
