| My DH is similar. Long-term employed in a stable job but without any advancement opportunities. He was turned down for several other opportunities. He admits he is stuck, but then lies that he is going to do something about it. I think it is a long-standing pattern from childhood. He has no follow through in his life. We are frankly too old for this. I have advanced in my career, and college costs are approaching. I love him, but there is very bad faith between us. |
