| Let’s keep in mind that WJ has over 3000 students. Their resource teacher for special ed just stepped down and they’re being flooded with new enrollments and need to keep class sizes balanced. |
A lot of MCPS high schools have 3000 plus kids (Whitman, BCC do too.) if WJ can’t handle scheduling, which is a basic school function, Taylor should stop spending so many resources on his stupid videos and send extra help down to WJ so high school kids can get their schedules more than one day before school starts and identify errors |
| lol. Whitman and BCC don’t have 3000. |
Not sure where you’re getting your information, but Whitman is one of the few high schools that can still fit in DAR for graduation. Your numbers are off. |
| Blair and WJ are the only schools with 3000+ students. |

3000-plus student Blair got their schedules posted already and they have a new principal. What is WJ's excuse?
There is no excuse why there isn't a deadline across the system by which you can expect to know your schedule and teacher assignments. You can add a caveat that it may still change as enrollments are processed, but having 80% of high schools have schedules up last week and the rest delayed without any communications to families is disrespectful to parents and students in those schools that lagged. I think MCPS principals forget that people have connections beyond their own cluster and think their deficiencies won't be noticed. |
Wheaton was over 2,700 in 2024-25. Let’s see what it is this year. |
