Me too. My kid mentioned in May that the teacher was out because she a meeting to plan for the upcoming year. I assumed it had to do with providing input on assignments, like what kids need to be split up etc.

Doubtful. She was probably working on curriculum if anything. High Schools are too big to allow for that input. Most of the scheduling is done by computer and then fine tuned, but we still don’t have students lists yet.
