I was under the impression they were drafted before break and fine tuned as needed after. |

| ES - we have our school supply drop off open house the morning of Friday 8/15 and we usually get teacher assignments on Tuesday or Wednesday of that week, so I’d expect them 8/12 or 8/13 this year. |

| My ES sent an email last week that teacher assignments are emailed on the 12th and meet the teacher is on the 15th. Also mentioned open house dates for mid Sept. |

Me too. My kid mentioned in May that the teacher was out because she a meeting to plan for the upcoming year. I assumed it had to do with providing input on assignments, like what kids need to be split up etc. |

| The week before school starts. Our open houses are on the 14th, we've been told to expect teacher assignments on the 12th for both middle and elementary school. |

Our Open House is on Friday (Aug 15). We were told we will get them on Thursday. I’m pretty sure it’s because our principal doesn’t want to deal with micromanaging parents trying to make changes like asking for Filomeeeena to be in a different class with more friends (even though parents were given a chance to give input in May.)
And I can’t say I don’t blame him. |
