There is also a disturbing cultural-appropriation aspect to people watching this who are not Asians themselves.

Yeah! As a white person I should only like “white people things.” The only way to be non-racist is to shun all entertainment from other cultures.

I was disturbed, and really kinda offended at the lack of diversity. I mean, they did not even try.

...in a K-pop cartoon? You've got to be joking.

I think the main characters should look more Korean (everyone else does)

She looks like Elsa. They chose a good model.

NP.

Elsa / Frozen is a next-level offensive for lack of diversity, but that’s a topic for a different thread.

K-Pop Demon Hunters lacks even an attempt at racial and cultural diversity.

Major fail.

You must be a troll. A Kpop movie should have Korean main characters. Adding other diversity is completely unnecessary and would be forcing it. Asians rarely get the spotlight in media and it’s nice to see K-pop Demon Hunters celebrating them.

They DO look Asian. A lot of you do not watch anime and it really shows. Go away.

Oh good, ever since KPDH became popular I was wondering when the brain dead woke takes would start and what they would be, and I see we have found them.
