Coming to a theater near you!!

| My daughter LOVES this movie. |
|
I've seen tons of K-dramas, some involving pop star storylines; some excellent, some terrible. This one is lowest common denominator crap for the unwashed masses. DD also thought it was terrible. |
Well, it sounds like your daughter inherited your terrible taste. So sad |

Seems to be a cultural phenomenon. We saw it at a late showing and a lot of 20 year olds seeing it ironically I guess? But who spends real money and wasted two hours for irony that no one sees?? |
Maybe the 20 year olds just wanted to watch a cute movie? |
Oh that's so interesting. She was great! |
I was disturbed, and really kinda offended at the lack of diversity. I mean, they did not even try. |
I don’t think there is a lot of irony at play; the movie is just charming. |
It’s not irony! The 20 year olds went to see the movie because they genuinely like it. Happy to clear that up for you 😉 |
...in a K-pop cartoon? You've got to be joking. |
I think the main characters should look more Korean (everyone else does) |
She looks like Elsa. They chose a good model. |
NP. Elsa / Frozen is a next-level offensive for lack of diversity, but that’s a topic for a different thread. K-Pop Demon Hunters lacks even an attempt at racial and cultural diversity. Major fail. |
