My daughter made me watch this and I admit I was entertained and the songs were stuck in my head for days afterwards.

+1. A pleasant surprise, I thought it was a hoot.

Better soundtrack than Disney zombies 4

My kids are obsessed and I ended up enjoying the soundtrack myself. Complete surprise, my daughter requested to watch it after seeing the trailer on Netflix. I thought it looked ridiculous... And then got sucked in. The songs are so catchy!

Zombies 4 is a disaster of a movie.

We’re obsessed with Golden here (the song)

My kids love it. Songs are good and movie is better than many other kid-friendly options.

Same! I’m a mid 40s mom who loves this soundtrack!

I decided to watch it because I teach middle school and figured I should be familiar with it when school starts since the kids are obsessed.

Now I’M a little obsessed.

(It’s so SMART! Soda Pop and its triple entendres… it’s a cute song about a crush! Wait, actually the cuteness is cover for the lyrics that are actually kind of naughty! Wait, they’re ACTUALLY straight up singing about murdering people and stealing their souls, and both the cuteness and innuendo are distracting from THAT. The theme throughout about embracing your flaws and vulnerability, and how that contrasts with K-pop idol culture.

And then it will be so DUMB in such a fun way! The ramen noodles! The goofy tiger and magpie, which turn out to be significant images in Korean art, so again, also smart!)

And yeah, the songs are catchy as hell.

I have had Golden stuck in my head for a week now since my kids watched this movie! I looked up the singer who can hit those super impressive high notes, and she is the songwriter who was rejected as a K-pop star for being too old, but she was apparently so much better than the actress who does the talking voice, that she got to sing the song on the recording! Gives a whole new meaning to the lyrics.
