Where is USA headed?

Slow civil war. Not like the 1861-1865 version. More like the Sunni/Shiite conflicts in the Middle East. Political violence, bombings, assasinations. Stalemated political situation with Red and Blue alternating narrow national victories, leading to national decline relative to China.

Eventually a strongman like Trump will fully take over and nationalize the media. At that point there won’t be “truth” or “facts” anymore, just approved information. Russia and North Korea have proven that it’s possible to brainwash an entire nation in just a decade or so.

I was reading them some of them were hiring behavioral psychologists to help plan for the inevitable challenges to authority that would come from staff after a time in the bunkers. These people are like every evil Bond villain. The problem for them is that we all know where the bunkers are, for the most part.
