The people who came over a century ago followed the process in place at the time. The people coming in illegally have NOT followed the process in place.
It is not complicated.

Apparently. There is a daily quota. Contact the media and see if you can get a story out and that ICE is detaining people who are here legally and are not criminals. Use social media.

Good grief. I can understand some citizens being detained temporarily especially if they are in the company of an illegal. But OP said this happened earlier last month. Please cite a case in which a US citizen has been wrongfully detained for a month.
