That is because they had delays with one of their latest dorm builds. Give Miami credit they have built a ton of nice dorms over the last 3 years. |
Yep. Lots or on-campus and student-centric off-campus housing under development in Ann Arbor. This fall has 1200+ new beds in new high off-campus buildings, Verve and Legacy. Fall 2026 brings 2300 new beds in new Umich dorms, as mentioned above, and 600+ beds in new off-campus Hub William. Fall 2027 brings 2500 new beds in three off-campus buildings, Rambler, Chapter, and Hub Packard. Fall 2028 brings 1500ish new beds in two more off-campus buildings, Galleria and 625 Church. So 8000+ new beds in four years should take some pressure off the student housing market. The status of Phase 2 of Umich new dorms (adding another 2200 beds) is still up in the air. Umich has started fencing off the perimeter and presumably will be starting demo soon. Rumor has it something will be announced in August. |
Alabama! This year is projected to be the largest class in the school’s history, breaking last year’s record enrollment
Roll Tide! |
Rumor by who.. Glad to see Michigan finally building after decades of neglect |
Not sure if I would be so excited about that. War Eagle! |
This has been every year at Pitt. Nothing new. And, them using hotels dates back many years. It was an issue when I went there ages ago. |
The same person who sent me a picture of the Phase 2 perimeter fence. |
Ah and next you’ll tell me QANON conspiracies. |
