You might be my husband. I'd initiate more if I wasn't so tired from working all day and coming home to work all night at home with the kids. Maybe you can make more money (or any money right now) and I could quit my job and have time for that crap. Having sex got me into this mess. No way I'm having an oopsie baby.

Not sure what’s more revealing - intimacy with her husband is “that crap” or that she views her kids as “this mess.”

What a keeper.

Yes. We are both high driven individuals and love sex. It helps that I’m highly orgasmic and he is great in bed. I find sex a great stress reliever and want it at least every other day. Sometimes he initiates, sometimes I do. I will doyen just lean over and grab him package or just start giving him a blowjob. Other times I will spread my legs and in my night shirt or start playing with myself while he walks out of the shower. He usually just asks or starts touching my breasts. I almost never tell him no so it works for us.

That's usually a personality thing. Dominant people tend to initiate, and sometimes shot down by other dominants. Submissives tend to want to wait for someone else to initiate, and often get frustrated.

I’d say it’s pretty even but I believe the sex is always better when I initiate because my desire level is incredibly high and he knows it. I get very physical with extended foreplay and that leads to 2-3 positions before we finish. Becoming recent empty nesters has taken it to a new level.
