MAP Science results being hidden

I got an email from downtown saying they’ve officially cut MAP for middle school next year.

Now there will be no city wide non-amplify related assessments being given to students in grades 6 and 7. DC is choosing to hide how terrible amplify is.

MAP science is significantly different than the reading and math test. This decision has nothing to do with Amplify.

MAP science is significantly different than the reading and math test. This decision has nothing to do with Amplify.


The point is that they won't have to face the data that proves that it's educational malpractice to use Amplify.

Have you read the amplify pre and post test questions? In the twelve multiple choice questions at the end of the unit, it’s the same 4 questions with different species copied and pasted in.

Since you have access, how have map scores changed in sixth and seventh grades with amplify implementation?
