I've often wondered why people just don't fly to a Caribbean all-inclusive -- it would actually be cheaper. But then again, we spend the $10K every year (despite me bringing up the Caribbean option), so I guess convenience matters a lot.
I'm not from the east coast, can someone please explain the appeal of somewhere like Rehoboth or Dewey? We are staying in Oak Island NC this summer for a week, in a gorgeous place three blocks from the beach, for $4500. And even that, my husband was like...$4500 for North Carolina? lol. But seriously, I could take my family of 4 to Europe for a week for $10k...
