How can someone even rent something as nasty as this?

It looks clean.

It’s two blocks from the beach. It has a kitchen, bedrooms and backyard. This would work for us except I try to avoid places with carpet.

Looks like the kind of places I stayed in for senior week in Dewey and later in my 20s went in on a summer share at the Jersey shore. We were young and broke. All we needed was a place to sleep that was walking distance to the beach and other party houses and bars.

Depends on prices of nice properties. You get what you pay for usually for the area. I never stayed there, so I don’t know if it’s pricey or economical, I’d say for a beach place in a popular location for a family it’s about 500/day? Can you get 2 hotels rooms in the same area for this price? If you can, then this is overpriced.

Any place that allows dogs is ALWAYS nastier IRL than the photos.

This is cheap for a dog rental. Usually, those properties rent at a premium since the supply is very constrained.
