Or perhaps you need to have some desperately needed health insurance coverage be denied and then report back how you feel about Luigi.

NP I have stage 4 breast cancer and understand the frustration. I would NEVER condone violence or murder. Ever.

Has your medical treatment been denied.

your treatment didn’t get denied. Just coverage for it does

Can you pay for a procedure out of pocket? Can you get a quote on how much a procedure will cost? Can you get a payment plan? Can you just write a check for say a C-section when you are also paying $2600 a month in premiums?

In June. It’s a backstory of his life

That entire reaction to that case was the warning that things in America were going sour. Desensitization from violence and “the ends justifying the means”. It’s incredibly dark.

Yep.

Don’t think the right wing isn’t taking notes feverishly, too. If progressives are seen as being fine with what he did, then it’s just a matter of time until RW hit squads start dropping people they don’t like in the streets. And I think they’ll be a lot more capable at it because many of them are prior military.

This is a bad direction we’re heading down.

If they drop more rich people profiting off killing the rest of us, I'm perfectly okay with it. They may wear suits and ties, but make no mistake, the people running these mega corporations prioritizing profit over everything are cold blooded murderers. The system is failing to address their crimes, and thus the people eventually will.

The social order is a contract. The rich are the ones breaking it.

Anyone who can't see that murder is murder, whether you do it with a gun on the street, or with a pen from the C-suite, needs serious help.

If you have a problem with Luigi, you should have a bigger problem with the mass murderer he took out.

quick poll - do more people on the left or the right condone violence along the lines that this person committed?

How absolutely disgusting.

Most of the posters on this forum are “the rich”. Ask them.

Are you ok with getting shot? Are you ready to be murdered?

I’m on the right - the hard, Hard, HARD right - and I don’t condone it one iota.

It makes me want to write a screenplay about an audience of hundreds of people that gets massacred by a team of hitmen as they sit in a theatre watching a play that praises Luigi Mangione.

We are also paying $2600 per month as a self-employed family. Today I received a bill for my kid's flu test. I can't even get a flu test covered despite paying over $30,000 per year. Meanwhile, these healthcare CEO's are making tens of millions of dollars in salary. While I would never advocate for violence this goes in the category of I don't GAF.

Nobody here has said they condone violence or murder, nor that they would ever even think about assassinating someone.

What we've said is that we understand the rage that drove him.

You can try to dismiss the anger engendered by the $%*€} up system, or you can think "Whoa, what makes a smart if mentally ill person view a healthcare CEO as an evildoer deserving of death?"

The killing was not okay, but it is a sign of a huge problem in health insurance.

I'm very liberal but I find it tacky to write a musical about this person.
